FTA Classic Indicating Card - 4 Circles (for buccal cells/saliva) FTA cards have successfully stored genomic DNA at room temperature for over 17 years (and counting). Card changes from pink to white indicating successful application of sample.  The dye used in the card does not affect the sample and is easily washed out during processing. Card flap doubles as a means of propping the card up while it dries and as a protective cover. Overall card measures 3 x 5 inches with four one-inch diameter circles which each hold 100-125 µL of sample. For more information on FTA cards, see the Whatman product description.
	Sterile Foam Tipped Swabs - 4 in Each Kit Non-abrasive foam head is same size as one circle area on an FTA card to facilitate application of sample. Plastic shaft measures 5" long, foam tip measures 29/32" wide by 1-1/8" long. Sterilized and individually wrapped.
	Large Multi-barrier Pouch (on right in image) For storing the FTA Classic Indicating Card. Seven laminated layers protect the card from exposure to gas or liquid contamination. Tamper-evident seal maintains sample security. Outer paper layer for labeling or writing.
